Sameness and Difference

Sameness is actually a very interesting way of living. But living in a society of sameness might be easier to manage. A life of sameness might be easier because you wouldn’t have the need for choices. You could live life peacefully, there wouldn’t be war, feeling left out, hate, and there would be very little pain. Basically there would not be any worries at all. But the bad things in a sameness society would be that we could not be our own individual person. Being you is what makes everyone happy. We wouldn’t able to listen to music. We would have to follow the rules about everything, even what we wore. Also, I would want parents and grandparents and any other relatives. And I think we wouldn’t be happy people. Even though I didn’t know it was happening, we would all kind of be like human robots. Living a life of sameness is not what I would want personally.

Our life is full of choices, some might be simple, and some maybe a little bit bigger. In a society of individual people we have the right to express ourselves physically and emotionally. In a different society we can see colors, which is a way we express ourselves. We can have feelings and are able to love each other. We also don’t have hidden memories for one chosen person to control, all of the memories in the world are for everyone to experience. On the other hand choices can also be a pain. Making choices can sometimes be difficult to do. This can be difficult because you could have a difficult time picking something to do, something to wear, or even what to eat. In the different world we have wars and hard times settling things. Violence is another factor of choices. Violence has been around from the beginning of time. If I had the choice I would stay with the choice life because I would hate to be an apathetic person even though sameness would be easy.

What would you do with 1 million dollars?

A million dollars would be an awesome amount of money. If I had $1,000,000 I would spend $2,000 of it for a family vacation on me, to get away from stress ($998,000). I would spend $2,170 of it on a brand new Sony laptop because I always wanted a laptop ($995,830). I would hire a butler to do things around the house so we could relax ($995,230). Next, I would save $300,000 for my college fund ($659,230). Then I would save the rest for my future and children.

1st Blog- Questions

Q:
Welcome to the land of blogging! I am so excited to start this project with you. In your first post, write down any problems or questions you have about your blog. Was it easy to start your blog? What ideas do you have incorporating your blog into class? Finally, give me an idea for your next free write.

A:
A question about my blog is what is this mainly going to be used for. I actually thought it was pretty easy to start my blog.
I think that the blog will be an easy way to stay in touch with school work and questions. For the next free write I was thinking maybe we could write about where we would want to travel in the world.
